WellEarn Cookie Policy
Last Updated: October 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how WellEarn uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, wellearn.io; on our quiz and checkout pages, quiz.wellearn.io and quiz.wellearn.ai; in the WellEarn web dashboard, dashboard.wellearn.io; and in the WellEarn apps. It adds detail to our Privacy Policy (https://wellearn.io/legal/privacy). “We”, “us” and “our” mean Onelabel AI Ltd, the company that provides WellEarn.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies: small text files that a website saves in your browser. Your browser sends them back to the website, or to the service that set them, on later visits, so that it can remember things such as your progress or recognize your browser. A cookie set by the website you are visiting is a first-party cookie; one set by another company’s service is a third-party cookie. A cookie can be set for one address or for all addresses of a domain, such as every address that ends in wellearn.io.
Local Storage: storage in your browser that a website can use to keep information on your device. It is not sent with every request, and it stays until the website, you or your browser deletes it. Session storage works the same way but is deleted when you close the tab.
Pixels: small pieces of code on a web page that tell an analytics or advertising service about an event, such as a page view or a purchase.
SDKs: software development kits, code from other companies that is built into a website or an app, for example to measure how it is used.
In this policy, “cookies” covers all of these unless we say otherwise.
2. Our Website (wellearn.io)
Our website wellearn.io uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC, to count visits and see which pages people use. It runs on every page, for every visitor, and we do not ask for consent. Its advertising features (Google signals, ad personalization) are turned off, and Google keeps the data it collects for no longer than 14 months; our Privacy Policy (Section 5) says what it collects. The website contains no advertising or social media code, and its fonts and images are served from our own domain. Our hosting provider’s network also sets one strictly necessary security cookie. The table lists the website’s cookies; in it, <ID> stands for the identifier of our website in Google Analytics.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics (Google LLC) | Distinguishes visitors (set for all wellearn.io addresses) | Analytics | 2 years (400 days in Google Chrome) |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics (Google LLC) | Keeps the state of your visit | Analytics | 2 years (400 days in Google Chrome) |
| __cf_bm | Our hosting provider’s network | Security: tells people from automated traffic (bots) | Strictly necessary | 30 minutes |
To refuse the Google Analytics cookies, block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings (Section 7), or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies From Our Other Pages: our quiz and our dashboard set some cookies for all wellearn.io addresses, such as the Google Analytics, Amplitude and Meta cookies marked in the tables below. If you have used the quiz or the dashboard, your browser may also send those cookies when you visit our website. Google Analytics on our website uses the same _ga cookie as the quiz and the dashboard, and the dashboard uses the same Google Analytics property as our website, so your browser has the same Google Analytics identifier on all three. Our website does not read or use any of the other cookies.
When you follow a link from our website to the quiz, the dashboard or an app store, the cookies of that page apply.
3. The Quiz (quiz.wellearn.io and quiz.wellearn.ai)
Our quiz, where you answer questions and can buy a subscription, uses three types of cookies:
Strictly necessary: these keep your answers and your place in the quiz, link your quiz to your purchase and to your WellEarn account, let Stripe, our payment processor, take payments and prevent fraud, and let the network that delivers the quiz protect it from automated traffic. The quiz cannot work without them.
Analytics: Amplitude and Google Analytics show us how people use the quiz, for example which questions they answer and where they stop, so that we can improve it, and Amplitude also lets us compare different versions of the quiz.
Advertising: the Meta Pixel and our own attribution records measure which of our ads on Meta’s apps, such as Facebook and Instagram, bring people to the quiz and lead to a purchase. On quiz.wellearn.ai, the Meta Pixel belongs to the advertising agency that runs those campaigns. Our Privacy Policy explains this in Section 5.
Two of our strictly necessary items are also used to measure our ads: we send the ID that links your quiz to your purchase and the country we estimate for checkout, both hashed, to Meta with our ad measurement.
When They Are Set: the quiz sets all of these cookies when its first page loads, for every visitor wherever they are, and it does not ask for consent.
4. Cookies and Storage on the Quiz
The table lists the cookies the quiz uses, as of the date at the top of this policy. In the names, <ID> stands for an identifier of our account with the service that sets the cookie. Durations are the expiry times recorded in Google Chrome; other browsers can differ, your browser may delete a cookie sooner, and you can delete it at any time (see Section 7).
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ol_web_user_id | WellEarn | A random ID that links your quiz answers, your purchase and your WellEarn account; we also send it, hashed, to Meta with our ad measurement | Strictly necessary; advertising | 90 days |
| ol_uid | WellEarn | A random ID our analytics use to recognize your browser across visits | Analytics | 90 days |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe | Fraud prevention for payments | Strictly necessary | 1 year |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention for payments | Strictly necessary | 30 minutes |
| m | Stripe (on m.stripe.com) | Fraud prevention for payments | Strictly necessary | 400 days |
| __cf_bm | Our hosting provider’s network | Security: tells people from automated traffic (bots) | Strictly necessary | 30 minutes |
| AMP_<ID> | Amplitude | Recognizes your browser and your visit, to measure how the quiz and the dashboard are used (set for all wellearn.io addresses) | Analytics | 1 year |
| AMP_MKTG_<ID> | Amplitude | How you arrived at the quiz (campaign tags and the referring site) | Analytics | 1 year |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors, to measure how the quiz is used (set for all wellearn.io addresses) | Analytics | 400 days |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of your visit for Google Analytics | Analytics | 400 days |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel | Identifies your browser, so Meta can measure which of our ads lead to visits and purchases (set for the quiz and for all wellearn.io addresses) | Advertising | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel or our quiz | The click ID of the Meta ad that brought you to the quiz (set when you arrive from one of our ads) | Advertising | 90 days |
| fr | Meta (on facebook.com) | Meta’s own advertising cookie, set on Meta’s domain when the Meta Pixel loads | Advertising | 90 days |
Local Storage: the quiz also keeps information in your browser’s local storage, which has no expiry time: it stays until you, the quiz or your browser deletes it. It holds your answers and your place in the quiz, with the version of the quiz they belong to, so that you can continue where you stopped. The quiz deletes them when you open it again more than 30 minutes after you last opened it, or when you arrive from a link with different ad or campaign parameters, so it also keeps when you last opened it and the ad and campaign parameters of the link you arrived from. Local storage also holds the language or currency that the link you followed asked for; an analytics ID that recognizes your browser across visits; a copy of the ID that links your quiz to your purchase and the country we estimate for checkout, both of which we send, hashed, to Meta with our ad measurement; how you arrived at the quiz (the ad or link, its campaign tags and click IDs) and your IP address, to measure our ads; and the records that Amplitude (for analytics and tests of different versions of the quiz) and the Meta Pixel (the website that sent you to the quiz, and when) keep there.
Session Storage: your browser deletes it when the browser session ends (usually when you close the tab). The quiz keeps there what lets a reload of the page continue your visit: your quiz answers, your email address and references to your purchase, such as your subscription and customer IDs, so that the steps after checkout still work; the state of the checkout page; and technical records of your visit. Amplitude keeps there the current and previous page of your visit and the web address where your visit began, including any ad or campaign parameters in it, which it uses for analytics and for tests of different versions of the quiz.
Stripe also keeps fraud-prevention data in the storage of its own website, m.stripe.network.
5. The Web Dashboard (dashboard.wellearn.io)
The dashboard, where members learn and manage their account, uses strictly necessary cookies and storage to keep you signed in and remember your choices on this device, and Google Analytics and Amplitude to understand which features and lessons are used. It does not use the Meta Pixel. Because the quiz and the dashboard use the same Amplitude cookie, Amplitude can connect your visit to the quiz with your use of the dashboard in the same browser.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in cookie | WellEarn (our sign-in service) | Keeps you signed in; scripts on the page cannot read it | Strictly necessary | 7 days |
| __cf_bm | Our hosting provider’s network | Security: tells people from automated traffic (bots) | Strictly necessary | 30 minutes |
| AMP_<ID> | Amplitude | Recognizes your browser and your visit, to measure how the dashboard is used (the same cookie as on the quiz) | Analytics | 1 year |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors, to measure how the dashboard is used | Analytics | 400 days |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of your visit for Google Analytics | Analytics | 400 days |
Storage: the dashboard also keeps a few items in your browser’s storage on this device: whether this browser has signed in before, so that the dashboard knows what to show while it loads; the page to open after you sign in from a link, until you close the tab; outputs you saved from the AI chat; the challenges and AI models you asked to hear about; whether we have already asked you to set a streak goal; and Amplitude’s analytics events waiting to be sent.
When They Are Set: the dashboard sets the Google Analytics and Amplitude cookies when it loads, for every visitor, and it does not ask for consent.
6. The WellEarn Apps
The WellEarn app for iOS uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and links these events to your account ID. It does not use the data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Its connections to our servers do not use cookies in a browser: your sign-in is kept in the iOS Keychain on your device. Links that open a website inside the app use Safari, where that website’s own cookies apply. The WellEarn app for Android lets you sign in with your WellEarn account.
7. Your Choices
Browser Settings: you can block or delete cookies and other site data in your browser’s settings, or use a private window. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the quiz may not keep your progress, you may not be able to buy a subscription, and the dashboard may not keep you signed in.
Do Not Track: we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
Opting Out of Sharing: you can email support@wellearn.io with “Do Not Sell or Share” in the subject (Privacy Policy, Section 11).
Google Analytics: you can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits to websites with Google’s opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Meta Advertising: you can control how Meta uses information from other websites and apps to show you ads in your ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences.
8. Changes to This Policy
We update this Cookie Policy when the cookies and similar technologies we use change, for example when we add or remove a service on our website, the quiz or the dashboard, and we change the “Last Updated” date at the top. If a change affects how we handle your personal data, we will tell you as described in our Privacy Policy.
